I removed the toes, and the part that was a little black came off with them. I don't know if it's just me but the place I was putting the neosporin had died and fallen off. I'm using the Walgreen's brand triple strength, let me know if that's ok to use. Here's some pictures, after his toes came...

I've been keeping neosporin on it, trying to keep it from getting an infection. It doesn't appear to be healing up to quickly and I'm thinking ill need to remove the toes since they are hanging off.
