After much consideration I have decided to not rehome my beardie and keep him. It was a tough decision in the first place to rehome him since I was recently laid off and a bunch of other personal reasons but have realized it would just be way too hard to let him go.

Hi all, I recently bought 200 Dubia roaches to start up my colony but haven't been able to find a heat pad without the auto shut off. I am in Canada. I've also tried the Exo Terra UTH but it doesn't get hot enough. Anyways, is it really necessary to heat the colony? They are kept in my bedroom...

I know how you feel! I am in BC and it's difficult to find Reptisun bulbs and other basics out here. I do sometimes buy in WA but the fact that they tax me 12% when coming back into Canada is ridiculous. :evil:
