yea they took 2 x-rays, no MBD\gout or obvious broken bones. it was either twisted foot or dislocated toes\foot. they werent sure but did notice a tiny gap that shouldnt be there, so leaned torwards dislocation took out everything but his basking branch, if i take it out he'll black beard XD...

feed her as much calcium dusted food as she wants, she'll be fine. unless you want to incubate the eggs? tossem. freeze them and toss them. either way its not pleasant sounding but theres nothing to do otherwise

Welp i have taken him to a vet, 1 of 2 things. My poor boy Charizard either dislocated his toes (appears that way since the foot is movable but obviously pains him) OR twisted his foot pretty bad. Its been close to a month, vet trip was 2 weeks ago. Hes still limping pretty bad...

So i havent posted in some time, i wont get into it as it wasnt a very pleasant summer last year. BUT! I still have my big fat boy Charizard, some of you might remember him I also have 2 leopard geckos, Spootimous and Smeggles and a single ball python i rescued named Noodles

repticon usually has at least 1 bearded dragon breeder thats good. i like tom, i recommend him as well as carolina designer dragons based in charlotte nc. they both have wonderful babies and take god care of them :)

I live in charlotte, nc Last place on earth is a good pet store, though there is one in charlotte i dont know how good it is. the gastonia one is good though. the petsmarts here arent horrible, they weedle around corprate to some degree :)

crickets, worms (like repti or phoenix worms), id be very skimpy on feeding mealies or supers because of the shells we feed ours 2 times a day, every day. hes going through a growth spurt now, so its hard to keep up since he's with 2 other lizards with similar humidity and heat requirments...

well i dunno if charizard likes music. i do know that he does not like wocka flocka, he actually bearded and panicked when my sister played it while she cleaned. i shut it off and he calmed down

all of the ones near me had them in an all water set up, with a filter and some feeder guppys. they looked alot better in that set up, they had stuff to climb up out of the water on and everything. now they have mulch and a large water dish that they can barely soak in

i dont know the other locations (their names and such) in charlotte, but pretty much every single one does not house their water dragons properly anymore. due to corporate unfortunately, we've talked to the people who work their and they hate to see it as much as we do.

i went in to buy crickets for my 10 month old one day. the lady recommended mealies instead of supers (i was buying supers as a treat, like 1 a day or so kind of thing), she balked when i told her that mealies had little to no meat and caused impaction, whereas supers were meaty but you shouldnt...

well, craigslist has some sometimes, however they are usually not taken good care of and have something wrong with them. meaning many vet bills for you :/ keep trying though :)

yea, we have 2 that get as much natural sunlight as they want and are both around 1 1\2 years old and much bigger than that poor thing. when it gets colder we'll have an artificial uv for their new 8x3x3 emclosure, as right now summer has just started and i dont know if using a lower uv bulb...

agreed accidents are acceptible, as long as they make the animal comfortible or put it to sleep to save it from the agony of MBD or super duper bad sunburn cancer death
