Reptaid for a baby bearded dragon

Hello, i'm looking for some insight into giving reptaid to a baby beardie who has lost his appetite. my set-up is good, i've eliminated the stressors he could be having such as seeing his own reflection or seeing whats going on in the room, as well as even reducing his tank size (made a...

    my beardie hates his tank?

He is under a 10.0 reptisun with a 105 basking spot and an 85 ambient temperature. He is normally orange/yellow/red with purple sidebars, very good looking, but inside the tank (55gal) he is constantly dark, looks like a muddy dark red. Whenever i pick him up he immediately lights up into his...

malnourished dragon with an open wound and a bad arm

Thanks everyone. Those pictures don't even show how bad it got, half her arm was just blood, and since she was translucent you could see it all. It was horrible. Her whole arm was basically limp and she couldn't do anything with it and just kinda drug it along. So that on top of being...

    Our newest dragon!

Our latest baby.. haven't had time to post him until now. He's a pure red citrus mixed with red flame, about four months old. He has beautiful colors! We just had to put down a rescue beardie we acquired, so we're glad we have this healthy guy to help through this time.

malnourished dragon with an open wound and a bad arm

We ended up taking her to the vet and sadly we had to put her down. Already suffering from malnourishment (she's 4 months old and you can see how small and frail she is), she lost so much blood.. there was basically no chance, and nothing could even been done because she was so small and skinny...

malnourished dragon with an open wound and a bad arm

Her set up is perfectly fine and the temperature is completely normal. We have another dragon who is perfectly healthy with the same tank set up, supplies, and temperature. Throughout the day there were a few small blood spots on the paper towels (I am currently using them for her substrate). I...

What's best to keep bulk crickets in?

if we get a rubbermaid container, obviously they need air, so is it best to poke a few holes on the lid? also, since i have no idea where to buy the egg crates you see with them, what is a good alternate to put in the tank for them?

What's best to keep bulk crickets in?

We're going to get bulk crickets (either 500 or 1000). What is the best thing to keep them in? I heard those large rubber box containers. Also, is clear or a color better, or does it even matter? Thanks!

    Crickets die fast

i mean i've read a lot about both and it seems that dubias are better. a lot of time it just seems like personal opinion. this was the breeder's personal opinion.. he still gives them dubia once in awhile, he said since crickets are the main, natural feeders of crickets he sticks with them. are...

    Crickets die fast

We talked to a local breeder and shop owner and we asked about dubias, and he said he thinks crickets are better. I guess this is more a personal opinion, but does the dragon grow well with dubias? Also, since ours is a baby, is it ok to feed them dubias now?

    UVB Lighting help

We just purchased a larger UVB light (24in. Reptisun 10) for our dragon, we have a 50 gallon tank. We read on these forums that Wal-mart had a black light fixture which could be used for the UVB light (a LOT cheaper!). We put it together and it works and fits great, but we're a little skeptical...
