may sound like a newb question but what do you mean by husbandry? haven't tried different feeders. right now feeding him supers and crickets and no there are no other dragons in the mirror its just when he's see's himself in the mirror or the reflection of himself in the cage.

no he is fully active now. running around the cage, head bobbing, running around my room when i take him out, basking, just not eating as much as he use to before he went into his brumation. this is the first time i've ever dealt with brumation so its a little difficult haha.

so my dragon is about a year old now and he is refusing to eat crickets and worms but will still eat his greens and he's always sleeping. i'm not sure if he starting his brumation period or what not but does anyone have any idea what could be going on or what i could do?

im going to order some mealworms from mulberry farms. how long did it take for you to get your stuff?

hahaha so does mine. he still like the crickets every once and awhile but he doesnt want them man he sure lets me know. puts his head up in the air and wont even look at them, but when i put a dozen or so worms in fromt of him he's all game. love the roman emperor thing cracked me up haha

my dragon has not been eating crickets as much as he use to. he would go through about 40 in one sitting but now hes calmed down on them. think he doesnt like them anymore but man he sure can put back the worms like no one's business

pretty sure he said in that thread that he got them at home depot. said they were like $7 a pop

yeah i love those branches. if i feel that he needs a change in his set up i just go out into my back yard (which is literally the desert) and find some new ones, spray them off really good and make sure theres no bugs or anything moving before i put them in. the only downfall to them is taking...

well i mounted the light on with double stick tape so its not moving at all ha i tried to and it wont budge. i just move the sticks around and zip tied some of them together and now he sits about 4-6" under it when hes on the branches. thanks for the info i def do not want to blind my dragon!

yeah i moved some stuff around. the uv light is mounted to the cage so its not going anywhere and the other two lights sit on top of a screen so theres no way the can fall through or he can get it

just got the reptisun 10.0uvb and have been having trouble on where to mount it in the tank so that he can have good basking spots. ill post up a pic and explain it anyways in this pic the branch i have in there sits pretty close to the stick and when he's on top of it he can pretty much touch...

how many crickets does everyone usually purchase at a time? or does everyone have their own colony?
