    Growing hornworms...

Use the cups :D ...but really, the cups with the.mesh vented holes work the best. If the food is being wasted, put less food, or more worms...I never had problems with the cups

    Discoids anyone?

I am hoping the same, my dubia's are doing great, so I will be keeping them the same, same food and heat also. I've noticed they are a lot more active, and quick moving than the dubia lol.

I once hated them, and now I don't know what I would do without them... my pets would make me broke!!

    Discoids anyone?

The discoid hybrids I have right now are discoids and b. cranifer crosses. they are a decent amount larger than the normal discoids. I'm mainly planning on using these for my monitor.

    Discoids anyone?

I have 3 colonies of Dubia, and recently started a new colony of Discoids and Discoid hybrids. anyone else here have discoid colonies? i've read pretty much to keep them just like the dubia's, so hopefully they do well.

    Growing hornworms...

That isn't a very good recipe at all!! that's if you can even find everything on the list lol. there is no mold inhibitor in it either, resulting in quick mold and death. I have been breeding them for a few months now, the easiest and cheapest way is ordering dry food from...

    Dubia Feeding

I use a blender and blend it up to a fin powder, so it is easier for them to eat. also, do some research, or hopefully someone who knows give some input, but I have heard calcium can be bad for roaches because they will have a harder shell and can have problems molting resulting in death, but...

    Growing hornworms...

no need to dig them up, they wiggle to the surface on their own before emerging, thats kinda how you know they're going to emerge soon. it is very possible you did kill them I have noticed the cocoons turn to a darker brown when the moth is dying/dead.also, most likely if they do emerge, if you...

    Growing hornworms...

There are really no signs that I have noticed, just a lot of patience with these guys. It's not as easy as it seems, took me a few runs before I figured out what worked best, and had some help.from a friend. But as far as how long, I happened to look in as one was emerging, and it was just...

    Growing hornworms...

here is my set up, very simple box method, works alright though. I keep my small tomato plant right up against the screen, all they need is the smell of the plant to lay eggs, which will be ALL OVER the enclosure haha, it's a pain collecting 1,000's of them!! and outside with "viewing area"...
