Got my Maxxly from them last November. She arrived healthy, happy, and on time. She is still doing great, 8 months old 19 inches, still coming into her colors. She's a Lemon Ice, still getting brighter with each shed. I have been looking on their site to maybe getting another BD.

Well Maxxly has outgrown her current basking area. This is from a couple months ago.....she is so big and fat now, she can barely climb up the branch without falling 2 or 3 times. LOL  So.......we have decided to build her a brand spanking new basking platform and fake rock wall. I...

    Bathing

Mine usually poops almost right away.....if I think she really needs the soak, I will drain and clean it really quick and put her back in. She usually just stand there....I have a dropper I play with her with, sometimes she will drink a bit. It's really kewl the way they swim around.

    trimming a dragons claws question

I trim Maxxs' nails occassionally. I use a small cat trimmer and a smaller rotor....that's what my vet suggested. It works really well....the best time to do it is at bed time, when she is getting sleepy and will be still. I just trim the very ends so they don't catch on everything.

    very clingy dragon?

My Maxx isn't not that bad.....but, she does love to be out of her viv. If she is grumpy and dark.....I take her out, and she whitens right up. She just wants to be with one of us...her viv is in the living room, and she is very much a central part of the family.

    First Dubias

I got mine at Kroger. Seems to be working....I try not to bother them too much, other then replenishing food and water. How do you count them? How many do I need to start feeding out of it? How long does it take for a good sized nymph to become adult?

What do you use under your Roach bins....

I just got my Dubia colony started yesterday. My concern is the temp. I have a heating pad i got at walgreens.....cheap with not auto shutoff. The room the bins in is kinda cold. The temp measures 95 with the gun....is that warm enough? I think the ambient temp is less...they seem to be...

    Bedtime Scratching??

Maxx does the same thing. When it's close to bedtime she climbs down from her perch (spends most of the day on her branches)....to her "sleeping" corner. I have ceramic tile over 75% of her viv.....one corner is sand with a vine and hide area. The only time she goes there is to...
