Spike won't drink when I spray him down and he has water on his lips... I give him baths every day to keep him hydrated, but I just want to know how to get him to actually drink

he doesnt open his mouth very often, but ive read that this may be because he is about to shed his beard, and that is why it looks like he is moving his beard with every breath when he opens his mouth..... but i dont know.... and no, there isnt anything in his mouth or nose

I was just giving my beardie a bath when I noticed that one of my beardies nostrils looked like it's shedding.. Also it looks like his head is too.. But he breAthes really hard sometimes, but this time he would open his mouth real wide and breathe in very hard... Is this something bad?

No, that isn't the light, but I'll go ahead and lower the distance from the basking area... I'll keep a close eye on him and hopefully he won't have any problems... I also snuck in on him to see if his eyes were closed a few times today... They werent! When he saw me, he tilted his head sideways...

My beardie is also growing very well... But Is it life threatening with this bulb? Well now I think I'm overreacting because I looked at all the symptoms and my little spike doesn't have any of them.. I'll keep an eye out though

My beardie can get up to 6 inches to the uv light... Also, my basking light is a small light, covered in something that's blue, which makes it invisible... The basking light is kind of circled by the uv light.. By the way it's a compact... I couldn't find a picture for you on google, but...

Haha of course when I ask about it, he doesn't close his eye anymore.. I also know many people who successfully use it so I think I'll just stick with it for now

Well I did get him at petco, but he was and still is very active and fed well, so Im guessing somewhere around a month

It may help to give your beardie some collared or mustard greens, as it helps the poop pass easier... if you haven't done so already
