We should be getting an ice storm tommarow. Which means the power may go off. Our bearded Dragon has lights that keep him warm and they need electricity. How should we keep him warm? Thanks!

We just switched our bearded dragon to tile yesterday. He used to be on carpet. Hes been biting on the tile multiple times. When I saw him today his tip of his mouth was a little red and bruised. Its not badly bruised just a little. We are wondering if we should take him in to the vet or if...

yes we are checking the temps, they were good, just a little bit (about 5 degrees) warmer. The bulb was longer and actually touching the plastic. I think that was the real problem we did switch back to the old kind as although the temp was within range, he wasnt on his basking rock anymore...

the cage is an aquarium, it just has plastic around the top edges. We have been sliding the screen open to feed him (the lamp sliding along on top of the screen). the lamp is melting the edges (when we forget to move it-this has just started happening-I think it is b/c of a new bulb). then...

Only problem with turning lights off is that we have a timer to switch the lights off... We have a plastic 40 gallon tank, i dont know what brand though. Thanks for the help!! :D

Help!!! When ever we open the cage to feed our beardie the light melts the plastic on the cage!! When we close it hot plastic falls into the cage! :banghead: We are afraid it is going to land on our beardie. Please help!!!
