It sounds like you have made your beardie dependent on you . Mine was the same so i had to leave him til he was hungry and he stated doing it by himself!

i think its illegal to leave an animal longer then a couple of days without fresh water and food??? A week is a long time to have poo in the viv! cant some one pop in at least once? As an emergency you could use dryed food with meal worms! But i would seriously look and ask around so you dont...

well meal worms arnt the best things to be giving them! But you could put some on her salad to get her to eat some greens! crickets and locust are better meal worms do block them up stopping them from pooing! I dont have trouble with that and mine is on super worms locust and crickets!

Give her a warm bath every day or every other day! i do and mine poo's every day! weekly poo's is not sounding good! x

Mine did the same! He took a week almost to come round then still didnt eat much! You will worry but soon you will realise these lovable pets are very robust and hardy! :o

I do the same to mine in a large tub. He has one every other day he loves it he swims around then has a poo and gets out ;o) He now even dries himself on a towel! REALLY!!!

Thanks i was using a fireglow bulb 60watts! i never new you could use a normal bulb! i use the red bulb so it doesnt disturb his sleep! He is still in his box very shaken up im hoping he will be ok after a few days! I still cant beleive it!

Good news he shed his skin! and now he eating all the crickets he can! he has eaten 11today!!! I stopped the meal worms on sunday! so i can maybe stop worrying now thanks for every ones advice! x

when i put them in he isnt really that interested? he eats them in his own time i put 3 in this morning before work i will put some more in when i go home 4pm! When i was putting 12mealworms in he also didnt eat those! so i dont think he is staving! just a bit fussy? He is in a 3ft tank
