yes i turned the under the tank heater off about an hour ago and he's basking and not opening his mouth anymore. but i will measure temps tomorrow just to be sure

thanks for the reply for now i will turn the under the tank heater off while basking light is on & wil turn it on when lights out. Tomorrow i will go to walmart & get a thermometer to measure temps. i may also downgrade the basking lamp to a 75 watter once again thanks
