    **Very gravid Bearded Dragon

Hmm well I would suggest getting her checked out at the vet. Do you have a reptile vet in your area? Since i don't know where you are from, I can't really tell you how much it would cost to get a check up. But here is a website that will help you find herp vets in your area...

    **Very gravid Bearded Dragon

Then maybe she is impacted because her temps are right but she's only pooping once a week? That seems odd to me, it could be that the eggs are still forming but there shouldn't be that many eggs if they aren't fertile. How many eggs do you estimate? My female has never laid eggs so I don't have...

    **Very gravid Bearded Dragon

Has she been with a male? She doesn't look gravid...usually gravid females bellies look like a bag of marbles (for example). What are her basking temps? My dragons poop once a day to every other day. So maybe she needs higher temps to get her system regulated.

    Possible Respiratory Infection; Best Medication?

Oh that sounds great! Can you get Reptaid from the pet store? I might try that for now, since I just found out that my vet isn't able to see him until monday. So that'd be wonderful if the reptaid worked to clear it up. Thanks! :D

I'm new here and need help

Hello Chris, How do I pick out the right Beardie? Well it is usually good to pick one that looks strong and healthy, make sure he/she dosen't have any mucus around the eyes, nose, and vent. How big should my viv be? If you are getting a baby, you can start out with a 20 gallon long and you...

    Limping Beardie

Since the lump is more soft than hard, it must be either an abscess or MBD. But I agree that MBD is more likely due to the fact that she dosen't eat much veggies etc. and you had said that you have not seen her get injured. Hope all goes well at the vet :!: Please do give us an update on what...

    Has stopped eating!

How old is he? Does he have a place to hide? The light needs to be at least a foot away. The light is probably bothering his eyes. If he has a hiding place and the light is set farther away, he should improve.

    Limping Beardie

Also, I forgot to mention... How is her poo? (Is it runny, hard, really smelly? anything odd about it?) Sometimes Parasites can interfere with calcium absorption and if untreated, can cause MBD. So you may also want to get a fecal done just to make sure it is not parasites causing the MBD.

    Limping Beardie

Hello Jon, MBD is manageable, you may not be able to reverse the effects of what it has already done but you can prevent it from getting worse. Sounds like you will need to take her to the vet asap. The vet will probably put her on a stronger calcium & D3 supplement, it may be either an oral...
