Quite an honor Ian likes my Dubia post. :) I haven't started my colony, but I'm getting some tubs this weekend to start my colony. OP: I hope everything gets sorted out for you.

Dubias are nocturnal, so maybe if your tank is glass (which it sounds light) the excess of light is stressing them out. Humidity levels I think should be kept around 40-50 percent. It also seems like it's a little warm... but just a tiny bit.

How hot to they get? Where exactly do I keep them? Should they always be on? Sorry for bombarding you with questions. :)

My Bearded Dragon is the only pet that's just mine. I share a couple of Ball Pythons with my boyfriend. But I live with my parents, and as a family we have three dogs (A Black Lab, Yellow Lab, and Weimeraner) and five horses.

Brumation doesn't normally occur before the dragon is a year old, but there's a chance. Since you mention paralyzed legs, it sounds to me like it could have been impaction. Small dragons shouldn't be on a loose substrate, and generally do better on something like newspaper and paper towels...

I can't say I've ever smelled Dandelion. All I know it makes my Beardie go bonkers. I'll have to take a whiff next time he has some. :mrgreen:

I can't get mine to touch Butternut Squash. I figured the color would attract him, but no go. He loves Dandelions and Turnip Greens though.
