No bowel movement in a month

He just went to the bathroom, biggest I've ever seen. It followed a roughly 30 minute bath. So relieved!

No bowel movement in a month

Interesting, wonder if mine does that too! I'll try to increase the day time by a couple hours. Would you think brumation is the most likely cause here? He's booked in for an Xray in 1 weeks time, just to clear him of any internal issues.

No bowel movement in a month

The T8 is mounted horizontally on the inside top of his tank, going from end to end. Night time temp is controlled by a CHE maintaining about 22c overnight as soon as his lights go out. I've put a lot of attention into making sure his setup is comfortable for him. :D

No bowel movement in a month

7 Am to 7 Pm. He's tucked away in his den by around 4 Pm though, I don't think keeping the lights on longer would do much when he puts himself off to bed

No bowel movement in a month

Hi, My lovely 9 month old beardie has gone an entire month without going to the bathroom. He's been far less active, spending about 50:50 time between his den and the basking spot. He is only eating a minimal amount of bugs (1-2 Locusts each day). His weight has remained constant the last...

Small white dot on bottom of eye

Hi, Not sure if it's something I should be concerned about, as it doesn't seem to bother him, but my beardie has had a small white dot on his lower eyelid for a couple weeks now. At first I thought it might be calcium powder, but it hasn't gone anywhere. Does anyone know what it is / whether...

Can chopped up larger feeders cause an issue?

Hi, My beardie as an addiction to dubia roaches. With smaller dubias, he'd happily go through 20 in one sitting. That however adds up to a significant cost each meal. Something I've noticed today is that he is willing to eat larger dubia roaches that have been chopped into an appropriate size...

    Scratching glass at bedtime

I'm in the UK too. It's been hot, but that should only affect their temps by a few degrees at most. (23c outside today for reference) Have you tried taking him out for a while / seeing how he behaves out of the enclosure when he does the scratching? It could be that he wants some human...

Estimated adult size? 3 month old is 13 inches

Hi, As a background, my lovely male beardie is 3 months old as of yesterday. I'm keeping track of his weight + length each week, and today he weighed in at 80 grams, and a snout-to-tip length of 13 inches (!) I couldn't believe it so triple checked. I can't find many resources online to track...

    Bearded dragon is completely grey.

As Karrie said, perfectly normal. Each dragon is different and their shedding cycles reflect this. With such a large shed it can take a few weeks.

Is Spencer Showing Early Signs of MBD?

Hi, my beardie loves to sleep / rest with his arms folded back as if he's a little dart. Legs too sometimes. I think it's just comfortable for them when they're feeling extra safe.

Odd colored scales on 3yo beardie's head & abnormal behavior

Sounds like he's a bit close and that lifting his head up for whatever reason would basically touch the bulb?
