Nova gets stress marks if i leave the herp room for more than an hour on weekends lol.

Another good way is to just provide a humid hide put a tupperware container with a hole cut into it and a wet paper towel in the bottom of it in the middle of the cage.

i wouldent go overboard by putting a fan in, but i would keep the warm sides on both tanks the same. unity through placement so-to-speak.

for the protection of the bulb i'd take a piece of wood and cut a hole in it to raise the bulb up just a bit maybe a 1/4 or 1/2 MDF piece or you could rip a 2x4 in half and put the 2 pieces on top.

does it really matter?.. they are both ceramic mounts. but if you BD is getting a little close to the bulb put up a small bulb cage around it. Edit: if you use the short mount it would be like a heat pad under the tank if you building a double so keep that in mind.

try a low watt heat emmiter that should do it i hear any kind of colored light will dissrupt there sleep cycle.

if you keep track of the dates of sheds you can bump humitdity up a bit around the time they will shed, its happened a few times with goosebumps but if i jack up the humidity near the end of every month she gets though them just fine.
