    Respiratory issues

Well Stewie went to the vet and she had a slightly clogged nostril which the vet cleaned out (I haven't heard the funny noise yet from her again) and she was deemed overweight. The vet said she had fat in so many places she could live for 3 weeks without eating and wouldn't drop a...

    Respiratory issues

The coldest part of the tank is about 60 to 65 but the warm end stays around 70. I measure with a probe thermometer that I only place in when I need it, I think you call it a probe (has the end that measures with wires that go to the display part). I just found it weird that she does it when I...

    Overweight?

During our last check up the vet informed me that Stewie was slightly "obese". Since that time I feed her more veggies and fewer supers and she seems to be slimming up some. Of course she is still very chubby and spoiled!

    Baths when sheading

When stewie is shedding I give her a preliminary bath and then let her rub around in the tub, ours has sort of a rough bottom. This usually gets her going really well and when she gets out she has shed much of the loosened skin.

    Hiccups

Just wanted to make sure my sweet girl is alright. She had this strange hiccup thing going after I gave her her dose of calcium last night. She finally quit about 10 minutes later, but it just had me worried. She would puff up her beard and "Ach" but not open her mouth. Is she okay? She...

If the under tank heating pad is under the tank and not on the side, then that's bad. The reason is because they don't feel heat underneath them and can get burned easily. Welcome to the site!!!! Oh and you'll eventually need a much bigger tank!

    Hello!

Welcome and only one word of caution, if you are going to college and living in a dorm, you probably can't take your bearded with you. I know my freshman year we could only have fish, nothing else even if it was in a terrarium or aquarium! Just warning ya! Welcome to the site!

New baby Beardie... and I got ?????

They sleep REALLY deeply! When I first got Stewie, I used to poke her to make sure she was alive! I take Stewie out all the time, and as long as they get two hours of lamp after eating and a good hour before, they should be fine! I keep Stewie out at least 2 to 3 hours every night and 1 hour...
