I have been shutting the red (night) lights off as well as the UVB, but they had the warmth of the under the tank heater. I have turned it off because of the temps getting to high, so what keeps them warm enough at night?

Would the wild bird seed be a good substrate for a bearded dragon? Would the seed cause blockage if they ate it? I have never seen this used for a substrate before
