Feeding Beardie as a favor when usual parent is away

hook his lights up to a timer, a little pricey at the pet store, if you can't order online in time, but well worth it!! Then get some live feeders that can be put in a bowl and left in the tank all day, such as dubia roaches, superworms or phoenix worms, and put those in the tank in the morning...

    Phoenix Worm "Stuff"?

I can't see a local petstore selling the worms for cheaper than you can get at the website! Every time I have priced them they seem WAY more expensive at the store. I used to get 1000 large for $44.90 at http://www.phoenixworm.com/servlet/StoreFront that included the shipping!

    Feeding Correctly?

I was feeding a 100 + phoenix worms everyday, I would count out 100 and put them in the bowl and see how much he eats in the first feeding then put that plus a little extra in for the 2nd feeding.

    Baby beardie Concerns

what I would do is take her out and lay on the couch and watch some tv, she can lay on your chest under the blanket and feel secure and warm and be on you and smelling you, kinda like multitasking.

    Baby beardie Concerns

I don't think it actually disturbs their sleep, so taking her out when she is sleepy and letting her get used to you that way would be beneficial in my opinion. It should help build some trust, cause when they are sleeping they are defenseless so she would be trusting you by sleeping on you.

    Baby beardie Concerns

one thing to try is to put a t-shirt that you wore but didn't was in the tank so they can get use to your scent, another thing is to try to get him out when it is bedtime so they are sleepy and not as aggressive as he would be totally awake, some dragons just take a bit more time and smaller...
