He does have what looks like two bumps on the top. Is that what I'm looking for to confirm male? I notice the one bump on the bottom too though.

I was wondering if misting could possibly cause an URI. Thanks for that info. I certainly don't want to cause something like that to happen. I've been misting his salads and giving him a bath a few times a week. I also put droplets of water on his nose. He's just not interested in his water...

It's possible it could have been too hot, but I'm not sure. We keep the house temp at 76 degrees, but his basking spot is about 100 degrees. The cooler side is a constant 85 degrees. He seems pretty comfortable. I haven't seen him digging like this again until this evening. A couple minutes...

I bought a bigger container to keep my crickets and cut out the center area of the lid for air ventilation. I have metal screening to attach over the area I cut out of the lid but am having a hard time securing it. I bought some of that Liquid Nails stuff but the screen doesn't stay in place...

That's what I think I'm going to do. I mist Lestat with a water bottle sometimes. He gives me this look like I'm really annoying him when I do this though. :? He really owns me... as I baby him so much.

I've been putting a water dish in Lestat's enclosure since I got him. He doesn't seem interested in it at all but has gone over to it a few times to put his arms in for a moment. I give him bath soak 3 times a week and each bath lasts about 10 minutes. I can't tell if he's getting any water...
