Digging in corner? (Updated with pic to determine sex)

He does have what looks like two bumps on the top. Is that what I'm looking for to confirm male? I notice the one bump on the bottom too though.

    Is A Water Dish Necessary?

I was wondering if misting could possibly cause an URI. Thanks for that info. I certainly don't want to cause something like that to happen. I've been misting his salads and giving him a bath a few times a week. I also put droplets of water on his nose. He's just not interested in his water...

How do I securely attach screen for cricket lid?

Thanks! I'll have to give that a try. It probably dries much faster I imagine.

Digging in corner? (Updated with pic to determine sex)

It's possible it could have been too hot, but I'm not sure. We keep the house temp at 76 degrees, but his basking spot is about 100 degrees. The cooler side is a constant 85 degrees. He seems pretty comfortable. I haven't seen him digging like this again until this evening. A couple minutes...

How do I securely attach screen for cricket lid?

I bought a bigger container to keep my crickets and cut out the center area of the lid for air ventilation. I have metal screening to attach over the area I cut out of the lid but am having a hard time securing it. I bought some of that Liquid Nails stuff but the screen doesn't stay in place...

Digging in corner? (Updated with pic to determine sex)

I've noticed today that Lestat has been digging like crazy in one of his corners. I'm not sure why. He'll be basking on his branch, jump down to the floor, and head straight for the corner where he just digs rapidly. I have tile flooring and the corner he digs in is also where his salad dish...

    Cricket help/Rant

I'm awaiting a response from Ghann in regard to my cricket order. I ordered my first batch from Premium Crickets last month and they were excellent (correct size, lived a full month, no odor). I only placed an order with Ghann because they had a better price this time. Plus, I thought Ghann...

    Is A Water Dish Necessary?

That's what I think I'm going to do. I mist Lestat with a water bottle sometimes. He gives me this look like I'm really annoying him when I do this though. :? He really owns me... as I baby him so much.

    Is A Water Dish Necessary?

I've been putting a water dish in Lestat's enclosure since I got him. He doesn't seem interested in it at all but has gone over to it a few times to put his arms in for a moment. I give him bath soak 3 times a week and each bath lasts about 10 minutes. I can't tell if he's getting any water...

    leucistic Bearded dragons

I don't know too much about the different morphs, but mine is Leucistic. I got him from Lynn with Carolina Designer Dragons at a recent Repticon show. She's a very good breeder and takes her time answering all of your questions and addressing any concerns. She breeds a variety of morphs but...

Update On Lestat (4 Mos. Old Today W/ PICS)

Thank you! It's funny, because I named him after the vampire Lestat from the Anne Rice novels for his pale skin and sharp teeth. Sometimes he'll strike crickets with his tongue without eating them and then leave them there to die. I'll find the crickets a little later all dried up to a crisp...

Update On Lestat (4 Mos. Old Today W/ PICS)

Lestat turned 4 months old today. He's been doing really good. He still seems a little nervous about being handled, but I stick with it everyday. I'm still a little concerned about whether he's getting enough to eat. I feed him twice a day, but he doesn't eat all at once. Sometimes I drop...

    Wine cooler for Reptiworms?

I'm doing the same thing too. Found one for $50 but it was sold by the time I contacted the person who listed it on Craigslist. The hunt is still on though. Good luck to you as well.

    Here come the ALIENS!

It almost looks like a mini face hugger from the Alien movies... you know, the ones that leap out toward your face with it's arms stretched out?

    Keeping ReptiWorms?

I've decided on this one here on Home Depot's website... http://is.gd/phXZ7J It's not big like the other coolers and is small enough to place on a counter top or in another small space. It's not very expensive like the other coolers and the good reviews say it functions very well. I'm not...
