munchkins, did you have a chance to check with your breeder? Personally, I can't see how they can ban these animals. So many homes already have reptiles in them. How would they control that?

i agree. Just make sure you wash your hands before and after handling your beardie, which should be part of normal routine any way.

hi there. not sure what you are trying to get at, but we took bernard into our care when he was about 6 weeks old and he ate just fine. how old is the beardie that you are referencing?

lol...we had the same thing happen to us. we thought bernard was a male, but when our vet took bloodwork about 2 years ago, he informed us that bernard is a bernadette!

can you check and see what kind of uvb bulb it is? we have seen so many times that pet stores give incorrect information when it comes to caring for bearded dragons. i have been subject to misinformation from a pet store. how long ago did his tail get caught in the door?

anoher thing to remember is beardies do become less active as they age. it is significantly different after the 1 year mark.
