Seven Month Old Beardie Eating Less- Normal?

Thank you for the reply! He's super enthusiastic about his salad. I usually use turnip greens as the main ingredient and use "treat toppers" like berries, mango, green beans, etc. Because his activity is so normal I really am not too concerned yet. I've also hear of a puberty picky phase?

Seven Month Old Beardie Eating Less- Normal?

Hello! I posted last week that my seven month, seventeen inch dragon was boycotting crickets. Well, he still doesn't really go crazy over them. He would rather have worms or roaches. But he's gone from 20-30 crickets a day to 10-20. He devours his salad though, and he still loves worms. Is it...

    Cricket Strike

Yeah, my mom laughed at me when I ran that by her. I'm sure you're right :) I'm just paranoid to the one thousandth degree when it comes to Mushu. He went to bed an hour early once and I almost arranged a vet trip.

    Cricket Strike

I just thought of something. I usually gut load with baby carrots or leftover salad stems. I had none on hand with the last few batches of crickets, so I used potatoes. Surely that couldn't be the cause of this?

    Cricket Strike

He ate twelve crickets today, which is much better than the three he ate last time I offered -.- I offered him a work just to make sure it's not anything serious, and he gobbled the work eagerly. He also munched on salad and berries, no problem. So he's just being a brat :/ I'm glad he ate a...

    Cricket Strike

He has actually always been a great salad eater- even as a little baby. He's a weirdo. For worms, I feed him super worms. I live in a rural area where "exotic" pets don't exactly have a lot of resources. Supers and crickets are pretty much the only "staple" feeders that can be obtained easily...

    Cricket Strike

Hello :) My seven month old dragon decided yesterday that crickets are boring. He normally eats ferociously but now he won't touch a cricket. He is alert, and behaving normally. He'll eat worms and roaches, just not crickets. I would just feed him roaches for a while, but my roach babies are...

How Much To Feed Six Month Old Dragon?

Haha, oh my gosh, I'll be spending twenty dollars a week on crickets. Thanks for the replies!

How Much To Feed Six Month Old Dragon?

Hello! I just have a quick question. I have a male bearded dragon and he just turned so months old. He's roughly 15-16 inches long. He has always been a big eater. He can eat forty medium-large crickets a day and he wouldn't say no to more. I'm worried that he may be eating too much. I want...

How long are your adult dragons?

Mushu is close to your dragon's age. He'll be six months old on July 11 and he is about fifteen inches.

    Dragon, Dragon, Not Lizard ((Mushu))

People love to ignore the advice they asked you for in the first place >< It's frustrating but luckily they' don't show up too much. And thank you Esther! I think he's precious, but I'm a bit biased. My fiancé called this morning and told me that he had a dream when he was holding Mushu, and...

    Dragon, Dragon, Not Lizard ((Mushu))

Luckily, if I'm not on the floor I'm usually at the register. I actually like helping customers with things like that because usually they are really eager to learn. I think the most difficult customer was the woman who only wanted a UV light, no heat lamp, because her son could burn himself...

    Dragon, Dragon, Not Lizard ((Mushu))

Thank you Cooper! I'm kind of a neurotic mommy, so it's always nice to hear when someone thinks my baby seems happy ^^ I'm really, really happy with the tile thing. Working at the pet store, I've switched more than one customer from sand to tile. Most of them want to switch after they find...

    Dragon, Dragon, Not Lizard ((Mushu))

Thank you Lisa! I really like the tile. I bought mine from Lowe's. There are two places where the crickets and roaches can wiggle into cracks but I usually stuff those with some rolled fabric or paper towels so it isn't a problem. It also helps that Mushu is weirdly fast and crickets rarely...
