I actually have my own microscope and do my own fecal exams. I do fecal floats and test the animals and keep records on all of my animals. The concept of dosing each animal with poison which kills off their natural gut flora and weakens their immune systems and causes undue stress for no...
Dont keep your dragons on sand by the way. I never said to use sand like petco.
sand gives them respiratory issues from the silt, it also gets into their eyes... as well, there is a potential for it to become impacted in their small intestinal tracts
overly soaking the dragons is: newby...
My herp vet told me to use panacur and de-worm all my dragons with it.
I have never done this and dont plan to either. Im sure it was great advise for the normal person who wants to poison totally healthy animals though.
KEEP SOAKING THEM THEN FOLKS ITS GREAT FOR THEM do it all day...
wish I had time to read all/any of these responses
personally I hear the same flotsam over and over on these forums
you are over doing the soaking sessions and incessantly drowning your desert adapted arid evolved lizards
all while putting them at risk of many ill effects
heed the words...
"Very warm water, soft bristled tooth brush scrub on underbelly. In and out quickly. As soon as he comes out, he goes right into a paper towel to thoroughly dry, and then right back into the heated viv under the light.
once every week or every two weeks"

their skin is not permeable they dont absorb water through the skin
when you bathe him once a week he may drink if he's dehydrated slightly... I doubt he will try to drink much if he is eating like a little piggy
you cant overfeed him...
Do yourself a favor and dont soak the dragon every other day. You're are putting him at risk of contracting a respiratory infection... and at minimum a cold with mucus. Trust me on this one from years of experience. Some of these so called forum experts regurgitate the same info over and over...
Ok put your dragons at risk. Excessively bathe them like they are little puppy dogs... every other day.
This dragon is one "I myself" bred and hatched out of an egg. It is an offspring from Raz.
Trust me... once a week is more than enough. Once every other week... even better.
You...
My critique:
You are bathing him too much... for too long a period of time. (every other day... 15-20 mins)
Do not let them soak in water for extended periods of time.
This is putting him at risk of upper respiratory infections. He should be bathed no more than once a week. Preferably...
It's hard to catch the color... when backlit she glows the pinkish purple.
She is a supertranslucent dragon... very translucent... fully see through.
Try to let her settle in... she should be eating for you every day and grow rapidly.
