65 might be ok for my beardie but it is not ok for me. I prefer it to be 70-80. In the summer it was never an issue because it was always hot so the AC remained on all the time. Now that it is starting to drop in temperature at night it is crazy to run the heat at night and the AC during the day...

This is what I do. The dome I have has 2 bulbs in it..one is the basking bulb and one is a compact fluorescent. I added the compact for brightness and it didn't raise the temp at all for me.

I think if it is only for a few days, just the pellets would be ok. I know a lot of people who have dragons that have pellets as their staple and get crickets and live feeders only as treats. I don't agree with doing this, however if it is just for a few days I think it is ok.

Be careful with the animal sounds. My beardie was in his hide for 2 days after hearing monkeys on tv.

The issue with switching his schedule around is if he eats crickets first, he might not eat salad at all. The only time mine will eat salad is if he is hungry and after he eats his feeders, he isn't hungry anymore.

Luckily none of my worms were dead but I am still upset on principle. If this had happened a few weeks ago, they wouldn't have survived. I am very happy that cooler temps are coming in. I think that I will wait until spring to get a PO box but it is going to be a definite must for me.
