    Phoenix Worms

After my last shipment of crickets(1/2" 5k) and having roughly 2.5-3k die within the first few days I decided to try Phoenix Worms. Being that I have 2 growing boys, I decided to go with 1000 large as my initial order. My boys love these guys and have been gobbling them up. The shipping really...

    RIP Little Red

I came home from work today to my baby beardie's tank flipped open, lights askew and no dragon in the tank. We looked around only to find his severed tail on the ground and a little pool of blood  The cats broke into his cage while we were at work and he must have hid in his log because it...

    My Beardie Trio

Bentley is the largest of my young beardie trio. He loves his greens and enjoys being hand fed. Pictures truly don't do this guy justice. He has some brilliant oranges on his head and back. Toothless is the friendliest of my three. He'll walk right up my arm and doesn't mind my nephew handling...

    MVB or tube?

Thanks for the info, I don't think an MVB would be suited for my terrariums seeing as how they are only 12" tall. I believe my local OSH has some t8 fixtures in stock so off to the hardware store for me :)

    MVB or tube?

How do you determine the watts for a MVB? Is it the same as their basking bulb? I just purchased 3 reptisun 10.0's on Amazon last week but if MVBs are easier I'd consider getting them instead. I know my beardie, Bentley, was on an MVB when I bought him but I've always used a tube.

    MVB or tube?

So I made a newbish mistake and didn't realize that UVB 10.0 T8's needed a special fixture... needless to say it burnt out my regular strip. I only discovered this when I came home tonight to 2 burnt out fixtures and my beardies being in the dark :( After researching on here we set out to...

    It's been a few years...

Well that's good to know. I've never had an issue before but I can just feed my leftover mealies to my RES.

    It's been a few years...

Thanks, I'm only feed mealies and waxies as a treat. If I wasn't such a wimp about bugs I'd breed Dubias but roaches make my skin crawl.

    It's been a few years...

Hi all, I just wanted to introduce myself after being a lurker for the last few weeks. I've owned quite a few dragons, having a few hatchlings and many adult rescues into their senior years. After losing my favorite female, Nyssa, I decided to put my reptile owning on hold. Well after roughly 4...
