I used to feed crickets to my dragons. Have you ever considered breeding them? Its soooo easy. All you need to do is provide a small plastic container (relatively short, but long) with some sand in it, and the crickets will do the work. It will take a few months to get a good cycle going...

We (my hubby and I) dont use sutstrate. We have all of our tanks floored with laminate flooring or tile. I heard sand can cause impaction. We just dont want to take the risk. We bought a bunch of laminate remnants for $20, and all you have to do is wipe it down when they do their "business".

Hi Peter... No. Its not real wood. Its laminate flooring. Glued down. The flooring has little tiny grooves in it. George is a rescue, and doesnt have claws on his back feet, and he manages ok. I watched him climb up the ramp tonight. So, so far, so good. Id love to see our dragons cage...
