    age question

I know, I know we've been over this before, but it's been a while. See, I understand that my bearded dragon that I purchased from petsmart about 7 months ago was no more than two months old, 6.5 inches long. You all are the fabulous lot that explained that to me. Now, 7 months and 10 inches...

    Not eating. Parasites? UPDATED.

He's eating, but he's still obscenely fat. Turns out he's not an R. brevicaudatus, like I ordered, but he's a Rh. temporalis. Damn it.

    Help! I can't find her!

Found her! She was under the bureau in the living room... under which I looked AT LEAST six times... hiding behind some long-forgotten cat toys (I haven't had a cat in three years). Happy as I am to have her back, she's grounded for two weeks. Thanks for your help everyone! -Megan

    Help! I can't find her!

Thanks for your help everyone! Krishna has yet to turn up, but I just know she's sleeping in some little nook or cranny, her nose buried somewhere to keep the light out. She usually wakes up at 7, but she never seems happy about it, so she might sleep past that. But I'm sure by the time I get up...

    Help! I can't find her!

I set her down in the living room to let her run around while I talked with my dad, but she ran off and fell asleep somewhere! Is there any way I can drive her out of wherever she is or make her wake up? Please help! -Megan

    Not eating. Parasites? UPDATED.

thanks for your responses. I'm trying to breed him, actually, with no success. He shows no interest in the two females, probably because he's sick... But pygmies are usually fine housed together, granted only one male. He's active, but no apparant improvement in the way of eating. -Megan

    Not eating. Parasites? UPDATED.

Here's a video of him moving, and photos of him held up to the light. This isn't slow... it's about normal speed for a pygmy chameleon. The two circles to the left may be worms, and appear to move. The lower right one may be impaction... He's fat, but I think it's water weight...

    Not eating. Parasites? UPDATED.

Please help. I know he's not a bearded dragon, but this is the only place I knew I could go for free, immediate help. Vishnu is a male pygmy chameleon that I ordered from LLLReptile. He's been in his 20 gallon terrarium with two females since Wednesday, 1/6/10, and as far as I can tell, hasn't...

    Laziest beardie in the world

Me, lol. I think it might just be the season, though... I've only had her for five months, but Krishna has gotten progressively lazier... health is good, lots of food, no reason to just sit around all day, but that's what she does, lol. Welcome to the club.

    Baby Beardie Basking

It looks very nice! I think he/she probably enjoys it very much. But you definately have to be careful about the dial thermos. I used to have that same one - when I got a more accurate one, a thermo with a probe from walmart, I found that that one was off by at least ten degrees. I like the...

    Can anyone tell the sex?

I think female. Krishna looks just like that, and the vet (plus petsmart and petsupplies "plus" employees) tells me she's a female.

I don't think they know, actually :/ I got mine from Petsmart too, but they have no idea how old she is. I bought her the day she arrived there, too. -Megan
