    VIV TEMPS

Beardies will not sleep with infra red lights on, its a very bad suggestion from the pet store, as for the night time temps you should not be letting it drop below 19deg c as 17 is already too low

    repti glo

I had the Repti-glo when i first got Leo he was fine for 1month or so then went into a phase of not eating and being very lethargic, i changed his uvb to a Arcadia 6% uvb and he got back to normal in no time, as said before they are not recommended i would use the Repti-sun 10 which i have right...

    Vet question

Hey, as far as i know they only need a check up before they go down for drumation or as you say if they seem unwell, as for the lighting it does take a few attemps and a few bulbs to get the temps spot on. When it comes to buying a uvb light i would strongly recommend a Repri-sun 10 make sure...

Going away for the night for the 1st time

If by heating lamp you mean the basking bulb i wouldn't leave it on over night as they need complete darkness to sleep at night, i would pick up a timer they are very cheap. In regards to the feeding, if you feed your Beardie before you go and leave greens in the viv, although its not...

    New Beardie bit me.

just like the last few times it was a chore to catch him From waht you said above are you chasing your beardie about the tank trying to catch him? if so it might be that he is scared of you as he is still young and a hand twice the size of him/her may be scary chasing him about.
