Ok so this is super annoying. My dragon is about 2-3 years old and lately he refuses to poop in his cage. he always used to but now when he has to poop he just spastically glass surfs until I take him out and then he poops. Its the worst because its way harder to clean his poop in my apartment...

Is there any reason I can't use the fake grass they sell at home depot as a substrate for my dragon's cage? It seems the same as the pricey grass they sell at petco. Can I use it?

Thank you! I'll try that. What would you consider an extended period of time? It probably won't be this hot for most of the summer but it could sometimes be this hot for almost a week at a time.

So my apartment doesn't have air conditioning and lately daytime temperature in my house has been getting up to 92 degrees F. Unfortunately, that means I can't get my dragons cool side to be cooler than that. Any suggestions on what to do? Thank you!!
