    Diablo acting a bit lethargic

Speaking of light times, my beardies know when the lights are near going out and will put themselves 'to bed' in anticipation of it. I have mine on at 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. and that works great for them. The timer for the lights was the greatest invention known to man kind.

    Please help!

My boy black beards when he's throwing a temper tantrum. I just pick him up and he closes his eyes. He's spoiled.

    Beardie Harnesses

Very nice!! I, too, struggle with the harness situation. The last time I was attempting to get Jack into a harness type device, he pooped. LOL!

    My beardie rescue story

Jack is turning into a monmas boy. He opens his mouth at my son and husband. They want nothing to do with him. Lol. He'll sit attached to my shoulder while I do my house chores. He literally clings to me when I try to put him down. He is a healthy little booger. Never knew I could fall for a...

    Diablo acting a bit lethargic

Let us know how she's doing. Our lights are set to on 7:15 a.m. and off 8:15 p.m. They usually fall asleep where ever they are when the lights go off. Sometimes they'll come down off of the basking spot, sometimes not. They are in our tv room and the tv and lights do not affect them sleeping. My...

    Multiple beardies?

I have a girl and a newly rescued boy. They have separate homes and a towel put between the 2 so they can't see each other. She doesn't mind him, but if he sees her, he goes nuts with the head bobbing and trying to get at her. I have *slowly* started taking him out and holding him by her house...

    Crazy Beardies!

She's done it before, it just took us this long to figure out that she is doing it on purpose.

    Crazy Beardies!

So, my female, Max, eats out of a bowl like a dog. Well we noticed that she puts her foot on the bowl to tip it towards her. Yesterday, her bowl was empty so she would bump it as she went by to make it ching against the tank. The second time she did it she stared at me. I told my husband, you're...

Baby Girl and Sweetie!!! First time Reptile owner!

I had 2 girls that lived together for years and never had a problem. They even slept together touching. I fed them in separate locations, so I knew exactly what they were eating and how much.

    My beardie rescue story

Oh yeah. He was quarantined and was making such a ruckus, we had to give him his own enclosure. He's a very active male and my other is a very docile female. They have not been introduced. He goes crazy every time he sees her. He has no visible parasites or in his poo. He seems quite healthy. No...

    more than one bearded dragon

Hello! I'm going to chime in here. Apologies for the long story.. I had 2 girls. Raised together, lived together, very seldom did anything other than lay around. 1 passed away and then there was 1. My sister asked if I wanted another and I said no. Then, the Good Lord sent a bearded dragon...

Trying to tell the sex of my bearded dragon

I would have kept the name. I love Spyro (that little purple dragon on video games is just too cute!). We named our dragon Maximus because it is the Latin term for "greatest" or "largest". She is large and great, so we kept her name when we found out she was female. We call her Maxie or Maxine...

WARNING, Should've considered this before getting her!

My hubby just brought home #2. He was on his construction site and saw a beardie running by. He took a pic, called me, then scooped him up in a bucket and brought him home. Hubby was terrified a bird would get him. I named him Jack.
