CROSSFIRE MADE EASY **UPDATED - 3.09.2008** 56K Warning

Well the placement of the lights is not THAT big of a deal- as long as the UVB reaches the majority of the cage - it should be fine to place them where ever you desire. I put mine all the way in the back and against the back piece of wood. The problem i come across is that i cant really move any...

You can pick which ever one you like, if you go with the balck - just expect to put some kind of "wall paper" in side for the lizard - i put bamboo sides and a back ground picture of the desert in mine...i would go with the black if you want it to match all of you furniture

Hey your welcome man, I only re listed the plan in a more detailed manner, the real credit for these plans go to "dvandriesen" who made the original plans. But in my opinion, the MDF Melamine was easier to cut and drill. It was a cleaner working wood. But I DID make 2 VIV's. One was out of the...

Yeah Temp controll would be a small problem as well, I meant to add that into my last reply...But yeah as far as basking spots go - I'm just using rocks, I had some landscaping rocks out side, that I washed really well and put in there. The main Basking rock is long and thin - almost like slate...

CROSSFIRE MADE EASY **UPDATED - 3.09.2008** 56K Warning

No the lights are fixed to the top of the enclosure with screws. I use a variation of wattage and height of basking spot to get the right temps. For example I am using a 75 watt spot light with the basking spot up 5 inches off the bottom of the cage - Temps are around 102-108 dead center in the...

CROSSFIRE MADE EASY **UPDATED - 3.09.2008** 56K Warning

Hey there - Are you the actual guy who made the crossfire enclosure plans?? Thanks for the positive feedback. I personally found your plans to be pretty simple - how ever, I was finding as I constructed the VIV's that there were things that were not so clear on your site. So I just decided to...
