thanks for replies! We've found him! He was hiding behind the cat box and is now safely warming up in his viv. Only damage is a nick to the tip of his tail which Ill keep and eye on. Its made us realise though that the cat isnt going to leave her alone - she is just being a cat after all so...

Weve returned home to find the cat in the beardy cage and no sign of the dragon....cat isnt sitting waiting to pounce anywhere so think that poor Gaspar has gone to the vivarium in the sky but want to have a good look for him. Problem is that there are lots of nooks so please can people advise...

Hi there Gaspar at last seems to be settling in and teething probs sorted (the hoppers I was feeding him were too big for him!) and he is now about to shed. Ive seen shedding aids for sale and wondered whether these were of any value or are they just a gimmick? Dont want to spend money...

ta! Checked enclosure on other thread and seems ok...will change grubs as think the crickets I got were too big maybe...

Sorry, me again! Got Gaspar on christmas eve and he still doesent seem that hungry. He tends to have a munch on his salad and will eat 1-2 hoppers a day but thats pretty much it. I know that they can be tempramental re food so am trying not to stress but its hard! Not sure how to tell whether...

Hi there Ive been feeding my beardie in the cooler end and hes not that fussed. Obviously its all new to him but just wondering whether the bowl should be in the hot end or doesent it really matter?
