Hey I was wondering what to feed my dragon, he is a little over a foot long. Ive tried crickets and worms. He loves crickets but i cant afford spending 11 cents per cricket at the pet store (any websites that are cheaper?, also how to keep them alive for a month?). The worms i have tried are the...
I was wondering when i shift from mostly protein to a more vegitable diet. my beardie is 9 months old?
Also what vegitables besides collard greens and kale would be good staples?
So ive been thinking of an idea for when i go home on the weekends from college, which is like once every two months.
But what if i bought an automatic fish feeder and filled it with like reptiworms. or should i do the non-live food?
mine does the same thing but he runs away when i try to pick him up. i am very nice to him and never harm him. i dont hold him to hard or are too aggressive when i handle him either
Haha yeah that would not be good. But I think I'm gonna leep him in his tank and take out all the decor. He is only about 8 inches and in a 29 gallon tank
I was wondering what i should do when i take him on a 2 hour car ride? it will be about 50 outside so i know i will have to keep the heat on. any other things i should do?
no i havent yet. i will be replacing it in a few months i think. just till i have some extra cash since college is taking every last penny i have.
so how long should i wait till i try to handle him again? he is also just finishing up shedding as you can see the dead skin on the green flood by...
Alright new set up. Zeus is hiding in the bush/leaves on the left, odd and i dont know why. its his new cool spot.
Im open to any ideas on rearrangement. Also do they get stressed when i change the tank arrangement?
Alright so heres the deal
1) my little guy scratches and acts like he is trying to run up the glass... is that normal?
2) how can i get him to be more friendly?... he just got done shedding so i know he gets grump then cause of that
He is about 3 months old now and i have had him for a month
Yeah if you put them in the fidge which is at 40 degrees they will dies, but if you use a wine fridge where you can turn it to 50 to 60 they will be fine
