Tinted lights aren't bad for dragons, they just shouldn't be used at night. They can still be used for heat during the day.

It's a habit, but it isn't chronic, you know what I mean?

My dragon is rubbing her nose against the wall of the tank constantly. She's molting, and she acts a little funny during the molt, but I'm not sure why she's doing this. I'd rather avoid having her develop a callous on her nose if I can. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Are there small dehumidifiers people use in their tanks? Just wondering. I'd like to be able to have some control over this to prevent the respiratory infections.

Well, my problem is I'm a student and the owner of a new car and paying for insurance on my own. Buying a new terrarium is a bit of a last resort. If worst comes to worst I may have to return one.

Going through that much trouble to care for your failing dragon is really touching. I'm sorry for your loss, and if you care for your firstborn as much as you do your pets, it sounds like you'll be an excellent mom!
