hey everyone, My adult dragon is a very fussy eater, and at the moment is very happy eating lots of hoppers. What I want to know is, how nutritious are they? I add calcium/vitamins to their veg anyway, but have a suspicion that the hoppers might be fatty? anyone any idea? thanks :) Leanne

Sherri is right (again!) Don't listen to pet shop employees, they know sod all. You might find one who owns their own dragon, but on the whole, ignore them! do your research here before hand. There are some very experienced people here who know a lot! I agree about the cage, get rid of that...

I also live in the UK and have a similar dragon. She's out a fair bit...what I do is make a hot water bottle (with a cover) and she sits on that quite happily for long periods. They cant sense heat as well from underneath, so make sure its not too hot, but it does keep them warm in the colder...

to be fair to the vet, SHE(!) was only small when I went last with her, so thats why I wasn't taking the decision as solid! I'm gonna keep the name...its fairly unisex anyway! I couldnt change it now, she suits it! lol. Thanks guys!
