I've never ordered from any of these places, but the reviews are really good for them. My local pet store has most of the bugs I need - and it's easier for me so don't have to store them. They even have horn worms which our Bob just loves.

I use 6" tile. It's easy to spot clean (just remove affected tile, scrub and return)- and also easy when it's time to do a thorough cleaning. Personally, I'd ditch the paper pellets, the crickets can get under them and hide, and hopefully he doesn't try to eat them. That could be a problem...

We go Bob from CCD - he's been doing great - and he's getting BIG. at about 7-8 months he's 19" (not accounting for a tail nip - which would put in at about 20-21") Great group of guys to work with. I had Bob shipped. Congrats on your new little guy !
