Beardie's fall asleep every which way,I want pics!

I confess that I didn't let him sleep that way all night. Sorry about the giant smudge on the glass, btw.

My Bandit is developing a cataract....

Update: It looks like the cataract is clearing up on its own. His pupil is responsive again and he's having a much easier time with the insects. We're so relieved.

I'm so glad everything's going to be okay. :D

    I'm an *****

Thank you. I was well out of my depth there.

    I'm an *****

I know that beardeddragon.co sells an activated charcoal suspension, though I have no idea if a single morning glory flower contains enough seeds to be toxic to your baby. I did some googling and the ASPCA has a pet poison control center, though they may charge you for their help and I don't...

    I'm an *****

Isn't that always how it works? In that case, I would keep on keeping an eye on her and wait for more experienced posters to weigh in. I wish I could be of more help.

    I'm an *****

I might give your local experienced beardie vet a telephone call, just to ask if he or she has any experience with beardies ingesting that particular flower. For me it would be a better safe than sorry situation.

My Bandit is developing a cataract....

So it turns out my Bandit is developing a cataract in his right eye. It's not all bad news--the vet says that when he gets bigger there's a surgery for it, and in the meantime he should be able to compensate. Apparently it's pretty rare in a young dragon, and the vet said it may mean he had a...

    Lizard puberty, or an issue?

It's good to know I'm not alone. :)

    Lizard puberty, or an issue?

Her temps have been a little uneven--here in Arizona it's monsoon season and the day can start hot and sunny then go cold and rainy, and our house isn't that well insulated. Overall, I've managed to keep the basking branches in the low to mid hundreds and the cool side of the tank in the high...

    Lizard puberty, or an issue?

We're not sure how old Bandit (male) and Banzai (female) are, but they are each pushing 19 inches long and both weigh more than 400 g now. (We got them as juvies from PetSmart, so we just don't know). However, there are a couple of new behaviors that we are beginning to notice from them and I...

    Should I separate my lizards?

Yup. Banzai is very adventurous--always wants to explore when she comes out--but she also seems to be the more emotional of the two. When she gets mad or freaked out for any reason she finds the nearest hide and says "screw you guys, I'm not even here." My husband says she once full-on...
