He is in a 5 x 2 x 2 cage. He has been in this viv since I got him last August. He has a 4 ft uvb, a 150 watt basking bulb and a 150 watt CHE, that runs at night. All of his temps are in range.

We have a water softener in our home and I am bringing my new baby home today. Should I buy regular drinking water to use with him or is the water softener safe for him. I can also bypass the softener when I use water for him. Any thoughts?

I have a crossfire cage that I built 60 X 24 X 24. It has plexiglass for the front sliding doors. I have a 48" Reptisun in it. I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea of wattage for a basking lamp and CHE. It stays about 75 degrees in the room at night but it only stays at 65 or so...
I am getting ready tobuild a crossfire cage and can't seem to find a background picture to put in it. Can I use textured wallpaper and paint it? What kind of paint would I use and what kind of sealant? Just want to make sure it won't harm my BD.

I couldn't find a regular heating pad in my area that didn't have the automatic off switch so I just went with flex watt and put some insulation around the bin. I also moved it to another area in the room and now we are doing much better on temps. I will post some photos after they get going...
