    no you should be fine, they need it to be a little cooler to allow for sleep, my beardies have no heating and the temps do not drop below 65 at night either.

    My beardies will not touch crickets anymore, thought it was just a phase but now they only eat locusts. They like yours just suddenly went off them, but they now love the locusts, super worms and also the occassional roaches.

    another way is to look at the rear legs, if you see bumps along his legs, that look like warts or similar then thats another sign of a male as they tend to be more prenounced on the males, and at a year old they should be there.
