I ordered some hornworms for my dragon and he seems to love them, but I'm curious about something: does anyone know what the gross brown liquid they secrete is? I thought it was blood at first until one shot it out of its face at me. It was pretty disgusting.

My beardie is approximately 4 months old and 11 inches long head to tail. I was told when I first got him to use a 20 gallon tank because he was so tiny. I'm wondering at what size would it be advisable to upgrade his tank size? He's crazy active and psycho.

I was giving him Phoenix worms. Those he bites and spits out. I tried giving him wax worms as well. I am aware they are not the greatest but I had them around. Those he doesn't even touch.

Get him tested for parasites. I had the same problem with my bearded dragon and it turned out he had coccidia and pinworms.
