Just curious, when you feed your beardies, do thier eyes dialate intensly as the decide where to start? Sometimes our girl will do this, then hesitate and looks around the bowl for about 5 seconds deciding where to start. You would think the lettuce is crack or somthing.

It is cold and rainy outside, so I figure I will let him stay with us since I have an extra tank. I figure it came from around here OR since we just picked up our bird from the pet store, maybe it hid in her cage. Either way, he came to me, so I must take care of him. :D

I came home to find this little guy scurring across my floor. Not to sure what he is... I like in the mountains in Oregon, so not really a desert climate, but maybe an alligator lizard? I don't know... What do you think?

You Sir, are a HERO. I can't stand to see animals in conditions like that. When the ignorant owner says "I didn't know any better" I have to call BS. Treat any pet better than you would like to be treated! How would you like to live in your own poop!?! Gas is expensive, and you elected to drive...

How bout when you spend more time and thought in prepairing your dragons meal that you do your own :lol: When your beardie eats better than you do... OR When you are at work, you only THINK about your wife, but MISS your beardie... shhh :wink: I didn't say that.

Real rocks are simple, all you have to do is find them. I am currently using only real ones since I am worried about all the chemicals I must get rite. Great info on "cleaning" them up. I am constantly collecting nice rocks and using them in my fish tank and beardie cage.

I have found that my basking side is 110, and the cool side is a perfect 85 and that is with just one basking bulb. If you absolutely must do two basking lights, connect a dimmer to the one closest to the cool side and adjust the output so that the cool side remains correct.
