Colloidal Silver Help

Hi everyone! I have a 5 year old bearded dragon who was recently diagnosed with Atadenovirus. Long story short, URIs have been an ongoing issue since March and I would like to try nebulizing with colloidal silver, which I ordered from Tracie's site. I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer:

  1. What would be an adequate dose? I read 1:20 ml on one of the forum posts here but wanted to make sure it's correct. He's 446 grams.
  2. Do I dilute it with distilled water?
  3. How long should I nebulize him for?
  4. He doesn't have a full blown URI right now but I can tell another one is starting up and want to treat it before it gets worse. Should I only do one treatment or should I do it for several days?

Hello,

I just saw your post!
How is your dragon doing?
Since he doesn't seem to have a respiratory infection right now, you can still use it for nebulizing
if you would like. Simply use 1ml of colloidal silver to 5mls of distilled water & put it in the medicine
cup. That should last for around a 5-10 minute session.
Nebulizing can be done daily as needed, it is safe to do.
If giving it orally, you can give 1-2mls daily for help treating Adeno. This should help with overall
health so you can cycle it. Give for a few weeks, then, you can give a break for a week or two just
to let the system flush out.
Feel free to contact me & let me know how he is doing, while on it for Adeno.

Thank you so much! I will nebulize him with colloidal silver tonight. I have learned to recognize the beginning symptoms respiratory with him, which is why I inquired about the colloidal silver. He tends to do this big gulp like motion after eating with the start of an RI flare-up and after eating this afternoon, the episode lasted much longer and was more dramatic. Unfortunately, I did not realize my SD card was full so my camera didn't capture it (I bought the camera to track symptom progression due to adeno). I do have a video from a recent episode, which I will upload so you can see what I am talking about. Could you please advise if this is normal behavior after eating or if it's related to respiratory issues or the start of one?

Thank you so much for the help. I have become so paranoid about his health since he has been properly diagnosed and it would be incredibly helpful if someone could tell me if the behavior in the video is something I need to add to my list of stress or not.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
