Possible tail rot

I recently noticed a noticable discoloraton in my bearded dragon's tail, it also seems to be slightly smaller and not decreasing in size like a normal tail should.
Im very worried and need to know if I need to take him to get it treated

the scales around the area where the discoloration begins is very pale only on the bottom though and somewhat transparent, and the circumference of it isn't proportional

Tail rot the end would be black dried very thin and no feeling+ shed often comes in many colors

Ah, I see. the proportionality should return because of shedding right?
