Banging head on glass

We have a dragon that’s around 1yr old now and has recently started shaking his head violently at times it can be bad enough he will flip over we thought it may be an attention thing but he does it in or out of the cage we have the lights setup with a basking light and a heat lamp and a cooling part of the cage he is in a 40 gallon tank any advice on what could be going on and how to stop it

Please get rid of the coil NOW!! Shut it off and get this ordered ASAP-- your dragon has been getting NO UVB and this is only going to get worse -- please order one of these fixtures-

You need to do this now --- your dragon is suffering from MBD --- shaking the head and stumbling is not good --- when you get the UVB please post back on here and I will help you place it and correct distance -- most pet stores do not carry this fixture only T 8's please get the T 5--
if its warm where you are 65+ degrees get him outside for some direct sunlight 15 min or longer if sitting on you -- do this every day till the UVB comes but please shut the coil off ---- this will help but you MUST replace the UVB -- basking surface temps need to be 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer place probe on the place where he sits to bask then get the temp 95-100
