would you know if this would be any good?
That bottle should last for a very long time, but if you need more down the road, any brand of povidone iodine will work. A lot of stores here have their own house brand/generic which is often cheaper than name brand for the same stuff.
That particular product will be fine. As Cooper suggested, you can dab it on using a swab or
a cotton ball full strength to help. If you bathe him in it, just dilute it down until it appears to be
the color of a weak tea.
I hope it gets shipped out to you fast.
Been applying it for the past few days. Hasn't gotten any worse (never really did anyway). He seems pretty normal still and still feels his tail and wiggles it etc.
It's good that it hasn't appeared to spread. My dragon has a similar spot between scales on his tail and I was concerned at first but it hasn't spread or changed at all in several years so I wrote it off as some kind of natural coloring where scales meet in that area. Hopefully that is the case here as well. Continue to keep a close eye on it for a while though.
Yes, mines had this for a while. I've got some YouTube videos from June where he's had it, and pictures from a few months ago where he's had it. I'm going to continue applying the iodine to it just in case, and make sure it doesn't spread. The only real change it's made is I guess growing with the scales (not spreading, I guess like how tatoo would get bigger if someone gained weight).
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
