Hi all, got a feeding question here. My Loki is about 7 1/2 months old. I think i need to put more weight on him. Not sure he's the size he's supposed to be for his age. Now, I got the timer out today while I was feeding him and he ate about 50-60 large BSFL in approx 8mins. I know everyone says feed beardies as much as they will eat in 10-15mins.

If I did that with Loki, I feel like he could easily eat over a 100 BSFL in 10-15mins. Does this sound ridiculous? Is there something else I can feed him that he wouldn't need over a 100 of? Dubias maybe? Thanks for the help.

BSFL are very small so it's not surprising he could put away 100 of them. Dubia roaches are a good filling option as are hornworms. Try giving him some of those and see how it goes.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
