You're over near Perth aren't you (if my memory serves me) ?
... so it's moving into the colder months in MID MAY , please keep his temperatures up , a long day cycle (14hr to 16hr) per day, and keep the food coming ( 2 meals of live insects per day + greens ) , this should help keep little Pedro awake over winter , as Pedro is way too young to be allowed to go unto full blown brumation.
He might slow down and spend more time hunkered down as the weather turns nasty / cold / wet and overcast outside over winter , this may be what he's been doing .
Of cause he may be trying to thermoregulate and can only find a confortable temperature in the cool zone, didn't we ask you check your basking spot and zone temperatures in a previous thread , can't remember what you said they were at the time , what are they now ?
What are the night temperatures like over there at the moment (are they dipping under 20oC , if so you should consider installing a CHE on a digital thermostat to help keep him warmer at about 24oC overnight.
