would this tank be ok?

im currently looking to upgrade my beardie's tank since im getting a gerbil soon and would like to the the little thing my beardie's tank (and then give gizmo a bigger tank). i found one on the Ikea website and its made of pine wood which isn't good for beardies, but since its made for furniture and display, i thought it would be less harmful. is this ok or should i look for a different one?

edit: maybe i could put some wallpaper or tape on the pine stuff?

I would think it's a bit too narrow. I'd shoot for dimensions that are along the lines of 48'' long x 24'' deep x at least 24'' tall or so. For that price you could probably build something with those dimensions.

alright! i was going to tip it on its back of course, but i'll see if theres anything else and if not, i'll resort to building my own
