Great Black Soldier Fly Larvae vendor!

I don't think I've seen this company mentioned before, but I found them over the holiday's since no one else was shipping until January 4th, and my Beardie was eating too many worms. Luckily they were shipping as of the 28th of December. To top it off they were offering 20% off at the time.

Their name is Symton Black Soldier Fly Solutions. They mainly seem to cater towards composting, but they have a "reptile grade" version as well.

I think you'll see that their price is basically the best you'll find, and the shipping is free. I found that the quality in my first order was fantastic. They were very lively, in a fairly standard substrate that didn't smell. There was pretty much zero loss (even to this day I don't think I've had maybe more than 10-20 dead from the order of 2000). They also seem to pack quite a bit more than what you order to cover for potential loss.

Anyway, just wanted to give everyone else a heads up for a good company. If things continue to be good I'm going to be saving around $20-$30 a month over Phoenix Worms. I like Phoenix Worms a lot (I don't know what their substrate is made out of, but I wish everyone else used it), but I've had issues with loss in the past, and their prices are quite high.

You beat me to it - I was also going to post about Symton. I've ordered from them twice now, and both times the arrived quickly with no issues, with more than the amount ordered. I also found out about them over Christmas. Had been looking into BSFL as an alternative to crickets as I hate crickets and could never keep them alive. Extremely happy with what I have received so far from Symton.
One small word of warning. The drill the air hole in the side of the tub at the top. If you order medium sized worms, and the tub is full, the energetic ones manage to squeeze out the hole. Kept finding a couple of the buggers on the floor until I worked out where they were coming from!

Huh, I ordered medium but the holes weren't big enough for them to come out. Probably depends on who is doing the poking. The holes were definitely a bit bigger than they needed to be, and some substrate did spill out, so that's one thing they could improve on, but nothing to make me stop ordering. Quality is my main concern, followed by pricing, and they win on both.

I'm not sure how long they have been selling grubs for reptiles, but they definitely seem to be overlooked. Reptiworms and Phoenix Worms definitely have the win on marketing... but that doesn't usually mean the consumer wins.

Nice prices! Might buy from them this spring when I start my composterback up (BSF are quite easy to breed in the warmer weather) thanks for the review!

Just got my batch of 2000 large from these guys shipped Monday arrived Wednesday all the way from Texas to northern california. No dead and hardly any dark or black!
