Small black lump on Beardys head

I have was feeding my beardy when I notice this black quite hard lump on her head. She is acting and feeding fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. It doesnt seem to hurt her when I touch it. I was going to see if it gets worse or goes over the next few days before I think about taking her to the vet. If anyone has any info on what ir could be, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Bite from an insect ?

Hard to tell but might be a tick perhaps …. does your dragon get to go outside in the yard , might have picked up a tick from a plant or some long grass .

Nah she has only been in her vivarium. I was thinking it could be a cricket or possibly hurt herself?

It looks like maybe an odd growth of some kind. If it expands I would have a vet check it out.

Did you try to wipe it off with a wet paper towel ? It could just be a bit of food or even poo that got flung like these beardies do when charging around the tank. Looks like it'll come right off. If it is a cricket bite, it may have formed a small scab of blood and should also come off in a warm bath.
